Health & Safety Education: Water & Swimming Safety (Elementary) 5-11

Health & Safety Series for elementary-aged children, homeschool children and/or homeschool health & safety curriculum. Lessons are to teach children on how to protect themselves and others from harm, and how to recognize and avoid hazards for safety and health. This Lesson discusses water safety around pools, lakes, ponds, beaches and other water bodies used for recreational swimming. This lesson discussed the importance of swimming skills, the differences with safety at different swimming locations, and how to recognize and avoid dangerous aquatic life, as well as the function and types of different life jackets.
